Adjective Clause atau
relative clause adalah dependent clause yang berfungsi sebagai adjective dana
menjelaskan tentang noun atau pronoun pada main clause dari suatu complex
sentence(kalaimat yang terdiri dari independent clause dan satu atau lebih
dependent clause).
Posisi
adjective clause selalu mengikuti noun atau pronoun yang diterangkan didalam
kalimat,noun atau pronoun itu berfungsi sebagai subject atau object, relative
pronoun (who,whom, that, which, whose, that) yang berfungsi menjembatani
hubungan dengan noun atau pronoun yang diterangkan.
langkah dalam merubah adjective clause:

Cari 2 kata yang sama diklausa 1 dan
klausa ke-2

Coret kata yang ke-2 (ingat posisi
subject klausa 1)
-
Harus fokus klausa 2
Example:
A : The girl is beautiful
B : She lives in Jepara
C :”The girl who lives in jepara is beautiful.”
The girl
disebut klausa 1 dan She disebut klausa 2 , jadi hilangkan klausa ke 2
untuk menghasilkan adjective clause.

A : The beach was beautiful
B : I look for a vacation there

B : He was here last month.
